In 2015, Aerial Patrol became the first company awarded a commercial drone waiver in Arkansas, and one of the first 30 companies in the country allowed by the FAA to fly drones for hire.
We formed a second company called Airborne Information Systems and put Matt Otts in charge. Unfortunately, we did not foresee the challenge ahead - our competitors. Hundreds of people were charging bottom dollar operating their own drones, flying illegally, no waivers and a complete disregard to safety. However, over the years we made our comeback. People became more aware of regulation and safety. Our business has grown tremendously; and today we are Arkansas’ leading commercial drone operation!
